Albums

Voice Of A Generation lp - Released November 6th 1982 (No Future Records)

Opens perfectly with We Are The Boys and ends perfectly with Closedown, with everything else you'd want in the middle. The crowning glory of 1st generation Blitz, it's also the last release with the original line-up. Lots of new songs and some re-recorded older stuff that blows away the originals (ie. Nation On Fire).
High: Moscow, Voice Of A Generation, Propaganda, Criminal Damage, Scream, Escape, We Are The Boys, Escape, Nation On Fire
Low: 4Q, Vicious, T.O.? (but they aren't too bad either)

1. We Are The Boys
2. Time Bomb
3. Voice Of A Generation
4. Bleed
5. I Donít Need You
6. T.O.?
7. Propaganda
8. Criminal Damage
9. Vicious

Second Empire Justice lp - Released June 4th 1983 (Future Records)

A new sound for Blitz, Joy Division mixed with the Cure? May or may not have been made to cash in on the New Romantic scene, I don't care which because I like it. Second Empire Justice starts off strong with well written songs, loses momentum in the middle with stuff that sounds thrown together, then gains it back for the end (skip the remixes if they are included). If you're not strictly into punk/oi then check it out.
High: Acolyle, Solar, Telecommunication, Flowers & Fire, Husk
Low: White Man, For You, H.M.K. Grey, Solar/Husk remixes

1. Flowers & Fire
2. Underground
3. Acolyle

7. For You
8. Skin

The Killing Dream lp - Released 1989 (Skunx Records)

More progressive than Voice Of A Generation, but more akin to it than Second Empire Justice. That said, it's hard to compare the three because they all have a style of their own. The Killing Dream is melancholy instead of pissed off, due to the slower pace/melodic music combined with Gary's voice (Gary from Attak fame). Not to make it sound boring because it is not, just different. Don't dismiss The Killing Dream without hearing it.
High: Those Days, Thrown Away, Don't Care, Lady Anne, Walkaway
Low: Final Hour, Fade, Intermission 2
